The primary responsibility of this position is to perform tenant audits to ensure revenues are correctly reported and remitted to the Trust and compliance with lease requirements. This position is responsible for preparing a three year audit plan and performing audits identified on the audit plan, in addition to monitoring expenses and revenues for over 400 cost centers and incorporating audits for irregularities identified during continuous monitoring. This position is also responsible for statistical analysis and reporting, along with proposing process improvements within the Finance division.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in performance and/or compliance audits.
- Knowledge of and skill in aviation and/or governmental auditing.
- Skill and ability in performing complex reconciliations of financial and statistical data.
- Skill and ability to conduct a detailed review of complex and detailed reports and documents to ensure they contain no errors and the information contained within each of the documents is consistent with all the other related documents.
The Oklahoma City Department of Airports is comprised of three airports: Will Rogers World Airport, Wiley Post Airport and Clarence E. Page Airport. The airports are owned by the City of Oklahoma City and leased to the Oklahoma City Airport Trust, which oversees the management of the facilities.
