- Developing design standards for transit and APM infrastructure in line with best practices and client needs. - Integrating APM systems into existing airport ground access structures. - Supporting project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules. - Overseeing contractor bidding and management for APM projects. - Performing quality control and assurance to meet design and client standards. - Managing project budgets, timelines, and mentoring junior staff.

The role demands PM skills and expertise in civil engineering design.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Sc. in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred (or ability to obtain PE Licensure within 12-18 months). Engineer-in-Training Certificate required.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in the design and construction oversight of transit systems, preferably at airports
• Experience and skills in project and program management of large-scale civil design projects
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to APM infrastructure design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, contractors, and team members effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel and work on-site at projects in New York, Florida, and California as needed
• Experience in delivering and managing all stages of multi-disciplinary engineering projects from initial studies through to detailed design.
• Experience with Civil 3D is preferred and full proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
• Full proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to represent DY Consultants in client-facing roles at all levels.
