THE OPPORTUNITY Deputy Director, Planning & Community Affairs The Deputy Director will be a highly responsible professional who will direct the planning, design and construction of Airport facilities, ensuring the completion of facilities on schedule and within budget. Work includes the long-range planning for the County Aviation needs and the acquisition of properties and construction of facilities to meet those needs. Managing a team of 18 and a capital program budget of $500M over 5 years, the Deputy Director is responsible for the daily administration of a complex multidisciplinary division under the general supervision of the Senior Deputy Director of Airports. Work is reviewed through conferences, reports and observations of program effectiveness.
