They are responsible for reviewing, writing, and monitoring environmental permits issued to MNAA, as well as assisting with environmental audits to identify areas for improvement. An integral part of the role involves responding promptly to fuel, chemical, or fluid spills, overseeing the cleanup process, and ensuring compliance with relevant protocols. The Environmental Compliance Specialist must be prepared to work on-call 24 hours a day and respond promptly to incidents, whether through phone consultation or in-person intervention depending on the situation's urgency.
