This position is responsible for assisting in directing the operations of the municipal airport. Examples of Duties • Assists in directing the day-to-day operations of the airport. • Directs the operations, maintenance and administration functions of the airport. • Oversees and monitors compliance with FAA, TSA and other federal, state and local requirements. • Assists in preparing and administering airport budgets. • Plans, directs and develops airport infrastructure development and improvement plans. • Develops, negotiates, and coordinates contracts with consultants, and leases; monitors contract compliance. • Serves as the Airport Security Coordinator. • Serves as the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Liaison Officer for the airport. • Hires, trains, assigns, directs, schedules, supervi
