•Acts on behalf of Airport Manager. •Oversee and direct personnel in charge of Airport Operations. •Reviews and maintain Airport Certification Manual, snow and ice, wildlife, emergency plans, pavement, marking and lighting procedures. Conducts routine inspections and audits to verify compliance FAR Part 139. •Oversee the Airport Maintenance staff including facilities, landside and airside maintenance. •Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets. •Participate in contract negotiations, monitor compliance with business and insurance aspects of contracts. •Responsible for the coordination of third party work assignments. May prepare Requests for Proposals, Request for Qualification and bid packages for projects. •
