The County of Volusia is seeking a Senior Trades Worker for the Daytona Beach International Airport located in Daytona Beach, Florida. This position is responsible for skilled journeyman level work including general construction and maintenance that requires little or no supervision. High School Diploma or possession of GED and (4) years of progressively responsible experience in maintenance and repair in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, painting, pipe installation and repair, concrete or brick work.
Required: Journeyman level experience in one or more of the skilled trades, (e.g. plumbing, pipe laying, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, masonry, air conditioning, painting, etc.).
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
CDL (level to be determined by division) may be required depending on position assignment.
A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
