The Manager - Safety Management Systems will develop, implement, and maintain the Airport’s Safety Management Systems (SMS) program in compliance with all required regulations, including 14 CFR Part 139 (Subpart E). They will also identify ways to continuously improve the SMS, while creating a culture and collaboration of best safety practices across all Airport operations and stakeholders. Additional job duties include preparing SMS reports and other information for the Accountable/Responsible Executive, analyze data using SMS software programs to determine trends and provide solutions to integrate safety practices, oversee SMS awareness training program for all SIDA badge holders, and conduct SMS committee meetings.
