SUMMARY An employee in this class is responsible for managing the adoption, implementation and administration of the safety management system, as well as compliance with federally mandated programs including Title VI, Environmental Justice, Limited English Proficiency and the Americans with Disability Act. Incumbents in this position report directly to the Director of Operations. The Safey Management System Manager administers the Agency’s SMS program; interacts with vendors and suppliers regarding requirements and security programs; and performs related duties as assigned.
