Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and Supervisor, the Operations Coordinator coordinates with Operations and Maintenance personnel via 2-way radio as well as through a direct link in cooperation with surrounding governmental agencies, and Air Traffic Control Tower. The Operations Coordinator monitors and activates an emergency alerting system and monitors a Digital Video Surveillance System in the Airport Control Center. The Operations Coordinator will also handle emergency, non-emergency and customer service calls, route calls as appropriate, and perform function under Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) and FAR Part 139.
