This position is responsible for managing a program which includes engineering, maintenance, construction, and safety aspects primarily of public use airports. This position is also responsible for coordinating with airport officials and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in order to ensure compliance with state guidelines. Assists in the development, management, and direction of state aviation transportation policies, goals, and objectives.
