Under the direction of the Director of Aviation, the Deputy Director of Aviation is responsible for engaging internal and external stakeholders regarding organizational strategy, airside business development including UAS operations and manufacturing, FBO development, industrial park development, air service development, planning, land use, outreach, marketing, advertising, and related programs. The incumbent will need to be comfortable presenting at public and community meetings. The position facilitates strategic planning, monitoring progress and prepares reports on organizational performance in achieving strategic goals and objectives. The Deputy Director of Aviation also participates in airport operational functions and emergency response as needed. This individual will be called upon
