SUMMARY: Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Operations and Maintenance, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Punta Gorda Airport's airfield and properties, assuring continuous safety, security, and strong customer service. The position requires an excellent understanding of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations, specifically 14 CFR Part 139, Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) Regulations, specifically 49 CFR Part 1540 and 1542, aircraft emergency response, current, wildlife management practices, non-federal weather observation, and communication skills.
