Position available with Kansas City Aviation Department, 1 Kansas City Blvd., Kansas City International Airport. Patrols airfield runways, taxiways, and aprons to ensure FAR 139, 77, 150 compliance. Inspects for the presence of hazards such as improperly working lights, out-of-compliance pavement markings and signs, FOD, broken pavement, debris, fuel or oil spillage, or ice or snow on airfield and prepares self-inspection report and work requests. Patrols airfield for presence of wildlife, using frightening and/or harassment techniques do disperse wildlife hazards, and removes and identifies dead wildlife from movement areas.
