Airport Manager
The Airport Manager is responsible for the overall management, operation and growth of the Southern Illinois Airport. This position reports to an appointed five (5) member Board of Commissioners that governs the Airport Authority, an autonomous unit of local government that owns and operates the facility. There have been just two Airport Manager’s in the 74-year history of the airport. The current incumbent has served the airport for the past 45 years and will be retiring from his position on March 31, 2025.
