Responsible for airport operations and the safety, security, and environmental needs of the airport: Makes regular inspections and reports on facilities, runways, hangars, fences, lighting and equipment conditions and performs/requests maintenance if necessary; monitors oil and water separators, test outfalls, fuel tanks and piping, control and countermeasure plan, and airport construction projects to ensure DEQ and FAA operational safety guidelines are followed.

Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, or a closely related field required; previous experience in aviation operations or airport internship is preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
The incumbent must possess and maintain a valid Virginia driver’s license.
Special Requirements The schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The incumbent will be subject to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays; will be on-call to respond to after-hour or holiday calls on a rotating basis.
