Reporting to the Manager of Sustainability, the Energy and Building Performance Manager is a new position at the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC). This position offers the opportunity to help drive developments in electrification, renewable energy, and sustainability commitments that engage MAC, airport tenants, state and federal government, and utilities. Using a mix of leadership skills and direct project work, this position will have direct and significant impact on advancing progress towards the MAC’s sustainability goal to reduce Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) total GHG by 80% from a 2014/15 baseline by 2030 while maintaining MAC’s high standard of service and reliability to its passengers and partners.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
One of the following:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field such as energy management, engineering, facilities management, or business administration and five or more years of experience working in the field of energy management and building performance
Associate degree and 7 years of experience working in the field of energy management and building performance.
High School Diploma/GED and Nine or more years of experience related to energy management
Experience with the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of a successful energy management program
Ability to develop positive relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate collaborative planning processes and to adaptively manage numerous relationships, projects, and collaborations
Ability to effectively present information, tailored to various audiences and using plain language when needed, and respond to questions from leadership, staff, professional communities, and other stakeholders via verbal and written communications
Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
Advanced skill level and experience with O365 products.
