The annual salary range for the incoming Capital Projects Manager - Airport Project Programming is $116,251 - $161,012; placement within this range is dependent upon qualifications and internal parity.
The County of Orange is seeking a Capital Projects Manager – Airport Project Programming for John Wayne Airport to oversee the planning and delivery of its multi-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP), a $700 million investment in the Airport’s future. Reporting to the Planning and Development Deputy Airport Director, this leader will guide a team of project managers responsible for advancing infrastructure initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability across the airport campus. Seven (7) years of progressive experience in capital improvement programming, project management, construction, or engineering, including one (1) year in a supervisory role. Three (3) years of experience in an airport environment preferred. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction, aviation management, or a related field (master’s preferred).

John Wayne Airport is a medium hub airport with
approximately 300,000 commercial and general
aviation operations each year, placing it in the top 30
