The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Airport Program Administrator - General Aviation Affairs position. This position will serve as the dedicated lead for General Aviation (GA) matters within the Airport Business Office and is responsible for addressing a critical gap in resources and subject matter expertise currently unavailable. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for GA tenants, operators, and customers, ensuring operational needs are met and customer service expectations are exceeded.
This position oversees the administration of leases, agreements, and permits for GA operations and facilities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and alignment with airport objectives. Additionally, the role will support the implementation of the master plans for Henderson Executive Airport and North Las Vegas Airport by coordinating stakeholder engagement, managing infrastructure improvements, and facilitating operational transitions. The position is also responsible for reviewing GA programs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration or a field related to the programmatic area to which assigned and four (4) years of full-time related professional level experience. An advanced degree in an appropriate field is preferred. Professional level experience and/or education that has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all job functions at this level may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
