The Border Coast Regional Airport Authority seeks an experienced Airport Director to manage Jack McNamara Field (CEC), a Part 139 commercial service airport, and two general aviation airfields in Crescent City, CA. This senior-level role oversees all airport functions, including operations, TSA 1542 compliance, ARFF, capital planning, lease and budget administration, and staff supervision. The Director will manage EAS/AEAS air service contracts, FAA AIP/PFC grants, and lead efforts to increase enplanements and support regional growth.

Salary: $102,209.12 – $143,818.48 annually Benefits: CalPERS retirement, paid vacation, full medical/dental/vision, and professional development Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; five (5) years of relevant airport management experience; valid driver’s license

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field
• Previous experience managing an airport, preferably with Part 139 certification
• Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations and airport security requirements
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with different departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in budget management and financial oversight
• Certification in Airport Security (49 CFR Part 1542) is a plus
