The purpose of this position is to direct and manage the City’s small, non-hub commercial service airport by planning, organizing, and directing all airport activities; including developing and managing the budget; working with City, State, and Federal agencies; and personnel management. Licensing and Certifications: Valid North Carolina Driver’s License; Accredited Airport Executive – Certified Member preferred. PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must meet the City's criteria for an acceptable driving record.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration or related field from an accredited college or university, with at least nine (9) years of relevant and supervisory experience; or the City may consider an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
