								<description>Savannah, GA,  Under general supervision, performs various clerical duties of airport credential requirements This position is not considered safety sensitive or require access to the safety sensitive areas as required under Part 1542.

Administrative
-Maintains records associated with CHRCs and STAs.
-Reviews credential applications for accuracy and verifies the accuracy of data entered into the credentialing system.
-Ensures lost badge ratios do not exceed a 3% threshold and immediately advises the Primary ASC should credentials approach this threshold.
-Processes monthly reports related to billing.  
-Processes applications for identification badges and parking decal tags and issues credentials upon receiving a vetted STA.
-Verifies identification of individuals processing a credential. 
Security
-Represents the airport in regulatory audits of the credential system.
-Assists in the Emergency Operations Center during declared emergencies.
-Ensures credential files meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
-Provides direction to Signatories and verifies compliance to the Airport Security Program.
 -High school graduation diploma. 
 -Minimum of 2 years administrative or equivalent clerical experience. 
 -Criminal History Records Check and Security Threat Assessment required. 
 -Sound judgment and good decision-making skills required. 
 -Knowledge related to the Airport Security Program and Part 1542. 
 -Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. 
 -Ability to meet and maintain Transportation Security Administration requirements authorizing unescorted access entry to the AOA (Airfield Operations Area), sterile area, or secured area. 
 -Possession of a valid Georgia Driver&#8217;s License. 
 Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. 
 Work schedules, to include rotating shifts, hours of work and days off may be changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor. 
 Regular and routine attendance is required.</description>

Reporting directly to the Airport Director and CEO, this executive-level position will oversee all airport financial activities. The successful candidate will ensure the long-term financial sustainability while directing strategic initiatives for infrastructure improvements and other revenue diversification.
 
Key Focus Areas:
Capital &#38; Infrastructure: Leading funding strategies, bond issuance, and managing compliance with the FAA or other state/federal grant sources
Financial Operations: Oversee accounting, treasury, and payroll in accordance with GAAP and government standards
Stakeholder Relations: Regular presentations to the Columbus Airport Commission, Columbus City Council, and community partners
