Salary offers will be made within the posted range. Placement within the range will be determined based on your similar work experience. The Port considers work experience to be similar if the scope and level of responsibility of your prior positions match the job being offered.
Some of what you'll be doing:
As a Project Development Manager for the Aviation Commercial Management (AVCM) department, you will provide vision, guidance, coordination, and continuity for all related projects as they move from the idea stage, through construction and project completion. You will provide strategic guidance for capital and expense projects associated with or impacting Airport Dining and Retail (ADR), Parking, Ground Transportation, Rental Cars, Facilities, Conference Center, and other related functions.
- You will develop and coordinate capital and expense program budget and construction activity. You will also work closely with senior leaders and other airport stakeholders to ensure that capital and expense projects stay on schedule, on budget, and have sufficient representation.
- You will analyze, assess and lead planning and programming for all related capital and expense projects in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders and airport interests.
- You will initiate all new capital and expense project intakes on behalf of senior leadership.
- You will be responsible for understanding and assessing when projects may overlap/conflict and develop solutions and adjust projects to eliminate conflicts.
- You will act as liaison with the Project Management Tenant team relating to tenant improvement projects.
- You will be responsible for budget and business planning coordination for capital projects including large cap, small cap justifications as well as any project-related expense work to ensure new program costs are included and justified throughout the business planning and budgeting processes.
- You will draft Commission memos and other documents for senior management and executive leadership at the airport and the Port. You will also provide options and alternative analyses in plain language, inclusive of all the relevant facts required to make significant spending decisions in the millions of dollars.
- You will assist senior leadership with procurements for service contracts and other procurement activities related to capital and expense projects.
- You will lead the development of fresh tactics and techniques to improve efficiency and productivity for all lines of business, such as ADR, Parking, Ground Transportation, Rental Cars, Facilities, Conference Center, including implementation of new technologies.
