Under supervision, the Airport Operations Coordinator performs a variety of duties at a general aviation, Part 139 Certificated airport. Responsibilities include recording all aircraft operations for billing purposes, monitoring phones and radios, and coordinating construction projects. As assigned, assist Airport Operations Supervisor in conducting airfield inspections and reporting all deficiencies found on the AOA. Issue NOTAMS as instructed. Responsible for airfield safety to include identifying, preventing, and removing all hazards to aviation including FOD, wildlife, unauthorized vehicles and pedestrian entry.
