Job Summary: This position is an entry to journey level Airport Firefighter and exists to provide Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services to the Grand Canyon National Park Airport as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position provides first responder and firefighting services on any and all emergencies to outlying areas around and near the airport. Emergency situations include: aircraft accidents/incidents; aircraft passenger medical emergencies; motor vehicle accidents; hazardous material (HAZMAT) incidents/spills; mass casualty incidents; search/rescue/extrication missions; and other related suppression needs. This position also provides assistance in airport operations, airport security, airfield maintenance, snow removal, weed control and wildli
