The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority at McGhee Tyson Airport is currently seeking a Safety Manager to assist in delivering and developing critical Safety Management Systems (SMS) policies, practices, and key performance indicators in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements. The Safety Manager will also conduct regulatory inspections of airport facilities (including the Air Operations Area) and is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and enforcing the rules that govern airfield and industrial safety.
