Under limited supervision, the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) Safety Management System (SMS) Manager provides guidance and direction for planning, implementation, and operation of Myrtle Beach International Airport’s SMS. As a member of MYR’s Operations’ Team, the SMS Manager will also assist with the daily operation of Horry County’s four airports. The SMS Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations and Airfields. This position requires flexibility due to the unknown nature of safety events and seasonal fluctuation of MYR’s flight schedule.
