The Airport Operations Officer is responsible for conducting daily inspections, ensure compliance with FAA regulations, and the Airport Rules and Regulations and Minimum Standards. Assists in airfield safety including identifying, preventing, and responding to aircraft emergencies, removing FOD, Wildlife and hazards to aviation. This position is also responsible for record keeping, 139 training, noise abatement and issuing NOTAMs. The Airport is currently transitioning to a 139 certificated airport with commercial service starting in the coming year.
