The County of Santa Clara is seeking a Director of County Airports to oversee the operation and administration of Reid Hillview Airport in San Jose and San Martin Airport in South Santa Clara County. Reporting to the Director of Roads and Airports, the incumbent will be responsible for formulating and implementing airport operating policies, interpreting and enforcing rules, planning for facility needs, managing budgets, and coordinating programs with various agencies. The Director will also handle citizen inquiries, represent the Department in the community and other agencies, evaluate capital projects, and supervise subordinate personnel. Additionally, the role involves reviewing legislation affecting airports and aviation activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business or
