This position leads daily airport operations across shifts, ensuring compliance with FAR Parts 77 and 139, as well as 49 CFR Part 1542 security requirements. The role represents the Airport when coordinating with tenants, agencies, the public, and during special events. Responsibilities include overseeing inspections of airfield pavements, navigational aids, safety areas, facilities, roadways, parking areas, terminal spaces, and security systems. The position supervises snow removal, identifies maintenance needs, issues work orders, and directs corrective actions. It prepares shift reports, documents incidents, and issues NOTAMs and FICONs, with authority to close the airfield during hazards.
