This position offers a salary in the $250-$275,000 range. A starting salary at or near the top of the range is possible for the exceptional candidate.
The Port Authority of New York/New Jersey is seeking a Deputy Director, Commercial Development, an executive leader responsible for shaping and executing revenue strategies across the Port Authority’s five-airport system. This role oversees a broad commercial portfolio that includes concessions, aviation fees, transportation revenues, property development, parking, ground transportation, cargo, and other ancillary revenue streams. Leading a division of more than 30 professionals, the Deputy Director plays a central role in advancing long-term business objectives while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, financial discipline, and customer-focused outcomes. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is desirable. The successful candidate brings at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience.
