Reporting to the Airport Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Airport Deputy Chief Officer – Security operates with a high level of autonomy and provides strategic leadership and oversight for the airport security program. This role is responsible for managing the daily security function of AUS, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and local laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to aviation, coordinating with TSA and Public Safety agencies, supporting long and short- range planning of airport infrastructure, and maintaining effective working relationships with tenants, other City departments, the public, contractors and regulatory agencies.
